I live in Costa Rica. I've been here, Nicaragua and Bolivia for 23 years now, since 1986. I don't believe in retirement. I have a 65' tour boat here which I've had for 12 years. I will be receiving a concession for a mine here in Costa Rica this fall and will again be a miner. I had as a placer gold mine for 4 years near Dawson City. With the price of gold as it is, prospects are great.
Life here is great, steady year 'round temp is around 80-85, hotter at the beach, 45 minutes away or, as cool as 60 higher up in the mountains. Just pick your climate. Living is much cheaper than the states. No personal income tax, property tax is just about nil and fresh truck farm fruits and veggies year 'round.
I did miss all previous reunions. I sort of regret that, so I hope to see some of my friends from 1960 next year.
