I left Anchorage the day after graduation and did not have the opportunity to return until our 40th Reunion that my husband and I enjoyed. (He calls it ‘his reunion’ and the one upcoming ‘our reunion’—never mind that he had never set foot in Alaska before!). That trip was for 6 weeks in our little motorhome and we soon realized that it was much too quick, so in 2003 we came back for 3 months. Once again we plan to drive up in our motorhome and spend three months for this 50th Reunion.
We live in San Diego, CA and have 4 children between us and 7 grandchildren. We are fortunate to have them all here in the area so get to see them frequently.

We spend a lot of time in our RV and have enjoyed spots like the Maritime Provinces of Canada, Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, Alaska, Niagra Falls and lots and lots of our National Parks. We also belong to a Military RV Club (SMART) and do some camping locally with the group.
(Old) age has tapped me and I just got my left hip replaced to match the right one! Oh the joys! During the summer months we enjoy many of the things this beach community has to offer, evening gatherings at the beach to toast the sunset, boogie boarding, and deep water aqua aerobics. Retirement is nice.
This year (2008) we will travel in the RV to Lacey, WA for a national gathering of our RV club and take the opportunity to do Olympic National Park and Lassen Volcanic National Park during the trip.
Looking forward to 2010 and our 50th!
